The month of April – we are seeing Spring in bloom. We celebrate the risen Christ and we celebrate all the springing up of our beautiful Texas wildflowers. We want it to stay that way – so we must make pronounced efforts to keep our world the way God provided for us to keep it. As you go through your Spring-cleaning think of ways to reuse and or recycle things you don’t need anymore rather than just throwing them in the trash and ultimately winding up in the landfills. As the saying goes ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’!  Remember there is a box on the information center in the Gathering Place to recycle used ink cartridges and bins in the hallway by the office for items for Agape, etc.

Thank you to all who participated in the Primary election.  Your prayers are now needed in the months ahead for the General Election in November.  No matter what side of the aisle you are on – your vote is important.  Start to study the candidates and write/text/e-mail, etc. to your representatives and what is important to you and what you would like them to focus on. If you have a pertinent story about an issue, make sure you let them know as letting them hear how certain issues have specifically affected someone means a whole lot more!

Blessings and Happy Spring to all
